What Does A Pilates Instructor Earn?

Pilates instructor salary expectations in Australia can vary depending on your state, qualifications, experience, class type and whether you work casually, part time, full time or as a contractor. Many instructor roles are paid hourly or per class, with public salary data commonly placing Pilates instructor earnings around $50 to $70 per hour. More experienced instructors, Reformer specialists or those teaching across multiple studios may earn more, while newer instructors may start lower as they build experience and regular teaching hours.

At Club Pilates, salary and role details are confirmed by individual studios during the recruitment process.

Why Teach At Club Pilates?

Club Pilates is a wellness lifestyle brand, not a traditional gym environment. Our studios are welcoming, inclusive and community-led, with members ranging from first-time beginners to experienced movers and high-performance athletes.

As an instructor, you are part of the reason members feel supported from the moment they arrive. You help create a studio experience that is friendly, consistent and empowering, while guiding members through structured classes that support strength, mobility, posture and confidence.

Club Pilates also offers more variety than a standard Reformer-only studio. Instructors may work with Reformer-based classes alongside equipment such as TRX, springboards, Bosu balls, chairs and other apparatus, depending on the studio and class format. You can also explore the full range of Club Pilates classes to understand the class styles, levels and member experience.

Open Roles At Club Pilates

Pilates instructor roles are available across the Club Pilates studio network as individual studios grow their teams. Opportunities may include group class instruction, private training, cover teaching, permanent weekly classes or future roles as new studios open.

If there are no current vacancies at your preferred studio, you can still register your interest so the team can keep your details on file for future opportunities. Club Pilates looks for instructors who bring technical knowledge, warmth, professionalism and the ability to make members feel welcome at every stage of their Pilates journey.
