Tash became passionate about teaching Pilates after experiencing the benefits for herself (avoiding surgery) after a calf and shoulder injury, inhibiting her from other forms of exercise. She believes the mind/body connection can empower a deeper, more intelligent approach to fitness and that the principles of Pilates can be carried into all aspects of movement and life, hence the saying Do Pilates. Do Life. Her aim is to help people move in a way that eases their pain, strengthens their body (to avoid future pain) enhance their ability and flexibility and to just move better in their daily life. Ultimately her job is to help others be fabulous at Pilates while feeling both challenged and empowered in her classes.
