Pilates Reformer Exercises for Beginners

If you’re new to the reformer or just getting started with Pilates, fear not! The reformer can be a great tool for beginners to ease their way into a Pilates practice. Our beginner reformer classes move at a slower pace, allowing you time to get used to the equipment and master the fundamental Pilates principles.

Still not sure if a beginner class is right for you? You can always schedule a private reformer session with one of our certified instructors. They’ll be able to assess your fitness level and offer guidance on which class type would be most beneficial for you.

Intermediate Pilates Reformer Exercises

Once you’ve gotten the hang of reformer basics and are looking to take your practice to the next level, an intermediate class may be right for you. In an intermediate reformer session, the pace is slightly faster than a beginner class, and the exercises are designed to challenge your strength, endurance, and balance.

If you’re still getting comfortable on the reformer or are new to Pilates altogether, we recommend starting with a few beginner classes or private sessions before hopping into an intermediate routine. Once you feel confident in your abilities and have mastered the basic principles of Pilates, give an intermediate class a try – get a trial class free at a Club Pilates studio near you!

Advanced Pilates Reformer Exercises

For those looking for an extra challenge, our advanced reformer classes are the way to go. These classes are designed for experienced Pilates practitioners and move at a quicker pace than beginner or intermediate sessions. In an advanced reformer class, you can expect to work on complex exercises that require significant strength, endurance, and coordination.

If you’re new to reformer or Pilates in general, we recommend starting with a few beginner or intermediate classes before moving on to an advanced routine. Once you feel confident and comfortable on the reformer, challenge yourself with an advanced class – our instructors will help you use your experience to provide ever-challenging and rewarding workouts.
