Hi, I’m Mia!
After working as a Personal Trainer and within the fitness industry, my passion for helping people move, feel and function better has naturally led me towards Pilates. I love the way Pilates combines foundational strength, control and mindful movement, along with the positive impact it can have on both our minds and bodies in everyday life. I hold a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and am qualified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates.
My own appreciation for movement and maintaining a strong, healthy body has grown over the years, particularly since having my two children and experiencing ongoing back pain. Pilates became the foundation of my own recovery and completely changed the way I understood movement, strength and how our bodies function. It was through this experience that I fell in love with Pilates and all of its diverse benefits.
My teaching style is a little more athletic and strength-focused, yet composed. I love creating Pilates sequences that build strength, control and endurance, while maintaining a calm and grounded environment. I enjoy incorporating elements of my strength-training background into my classes, with a focus on purposeful movement and helping clients feel strong and confident in their bodies.
I love helping people discover what their bodies are capable of and encouraging them to move in a way that feels achievable and empowering. My goal is to create classes where everyone feels supported, encouraged and empowered to move a little better each day.
